In it, i found that the author was more than disrespectful toward some of the companions in some places and if you read it, the book, you'll see what i'm saying i guess.

Having this book publish in http://www.ahbash.com website means that we should affirm what is mentioned! But didn't Imam Shafi' say, when he was talking about this fitna, "This is a Fitna that our bodies were free from so let our tongues be free from it too!"?

that is another point. A lot of our scholars of islam did talk about this issue. al bayhaqiyy, al nawawiy are just two names to mention among 10 others. but I will not discuss this point now.

Honestly, when i read it, i felt like a Shia and now i'm doubting myself... what is going on? If we were to follow the saying of our Imam, Al Shafi', then we shouldn't have wrote a book concerning this topic in the first place or so i understand!!!!!!  i'm lost.

yes you are lost ..... exactly ... and the reason for this loss is that you allowed yourself to throw judgments on the author of that book without any knowledge....

there are hundreds of scholars of islam who wrote hundreds of books about this issue the fighting between the Khalifa of all muslims Ali, and Mu3awiyah. In your statement, that you no way supported, you call all of those scholars wrong doers.....


now, you are asked to provide proof that the author of that book was disrespectful towards some of the companions of the prophet Mr. and DO NOT EVER try to answer anything else or open any other issue. Just this.

Hey abdelwahhab, Mahmoud wasn't just asking a simple questions, because we answer questions gladly ;-)

Mahmoud was making a statement in a question :rolleyes: or in other words, asking us if we are Shia :be1

The first thing, you read in "Who we Are", is we are Ahlussunna wal Jama^a... and anyone who knows what are Ahlussunna wal Jama^a would know it, by reading our lessons here.

For Mahmoud asking this question, and being that confused, I would strongly suggest that you learn more, and instead of confusing yourself with these issues (that you are not knowledgeable in). Take your time, and read and learn the Obligatory knowledge is the best thing you can do (if you already did, then great). If you have questions, you can ask but doubting that we are Shia, I don't see any reason for that.
