What do you think about this?
« on: Monday 10 December 2001, 19:46 »
First of all, assalamou 3alaykom

I hope that everyone of you is in a good health, and having a good time.

Did you ever thought about the meaning of "friend". Masha^Allah, our dear brother and sister, "Your servant", and "sweetheart" said a lot of good and impressive things about friendship.

But have YOU ever thought really about it? it's something we deal with it everyday, we think that someone is our friend, and one day when we really need that person he/she is not there for us.

In addition to everything said before, by our brother and sister, I also think that:

A FRIEND is the one who walks in when OTHERS walk out

What do you think about this? Do you agree?

Let's share opinions :)

wa 3alayki-ssalam my dear True Muslim;)

As for you being a sister loooooool it would help to chose a name that points it out. but i like you the way you are so don't bother changing it

Now i said i'd be back and i am.

You stepped on a mine field when you said.....

A FRIEND is the one who walks in when OTHERS walk out

Life is hard... yes it is but friends or the people around you, you think are friends are supposed to be the lubricant of a screaching brake. When you feel evrything has stopped working for you for some reason you cant understand to fix, when you feel the windmills of your mind have stopped moving, when the rivers are blocked with stone, when the dam overflows its accumilating patience,,,,,,,,Yes your so called Friends should  walk in.

They should walk in with cushions of comfort, with a strong shoulder to lean on, with white hankies to soak your tears and  with a box in which you place your secrets without feeling shame or worried that one day they will be disclosed.

Being a good friend is as easy as swiping your warm hand on your friends head, or holding their cheek in your palm or lifting their head by the chin and looking into their weeping eyes and smiling.
Yes its that easy to be a friend. THe only thing you really need is to be true to the people you hang out with. And most are not. THis is the difficulty. You spend years with people. You laugh together, eat togther, go shopping together, and lots of other good things. But when u fall they'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre out-of-here.

Its like,,,bye bye Charlie call me when there's nothing on your mind and when your laughing again. HUH friends !!!!!??????
Where are they. "Ya di3aan al-khibz al-mile7 yali kaan baynana" you say to yourself.

THey wanted a good time from you and for as long as you could give it, they're yours.

Sorry but im not buying my friend. My friend is tooooo precious. He/she is priceless, invaluable.

WHen you find a person that soaks your falling tears with his/her fingers, when you find that person to lift your sinking head by the chin and look deeply into your eyes with compassion, when you find that person who can give you a shoulder and say to you "cry on it as much as you like" , you have found a friend.

Yes my dear True Muslim sister i find your definition of friend particularly spot-on. Tell me ,,have i satisfied your thoughts on the topic??????

:)

Ma sha Allah, I think you should be a write sweetheart :) really ma sha Allah you are great :) I can't say anything after what you wrote.

But I am sure you stated and explained what a friend is, you are right, a friend is nothing more than what you said.

Bsara7a, I have to think to reply for you :p  I don't think I will write as good as you, ma sha Allah you are great, and by the way, you are realy a sweetheart :) I can tell from your writting.

I'm going to leave you now, I have some things to do (some finals) but insha Allah as soon as I finish these finals, I will have much more time to think :)

Take care of yourself, and I hope you accept me as a "friend" and a "true friend" for you. I am sure you would be a wonderful friend, just by the way you write, and explain friendship :) and I am sure, I will love you more, if I get to know you better ;)

Alright now, wish you the best
kawwakillah sweet sister sweetheart :p

best regards
