In that case I think the best we should do is to spread the word to the converted ladies and ask them to make sure about the religious practices of the desired spouse. It would be good enough too to check on the background of the desired gentleman if he do not belongs to some off-shoot sects, who clearly distort islamic practices at their best.

Certainly .... especially in Western world, where Ahmadiyya & Nation of Islam followers claiming to be part of Islam, which sometimes can be very misleading to new converts.

My best advice to newly convert Muslim brothers & sisters, try to choose your prospective wife/husband whose practice Islam as their way of life (Ad-Deen). This will ensure your happiness both in this world & the afterlife.
