if the fatiha,the ayat-al-kursi and the four suras with beginning with Qul.... are said three times each and then breathed on an ill person,it will  be effective.also,saying and breathing them on some salt  and melting it in water  and then drinking the water  or pouring it on the wound has been tried.'the four suras beginning with Qul...' are the suras of Kafirun,Ikhlas,and Muawwizateyn.
