question about sins
« on: Wednesday 02 August 2006, 04:54 »
wassalam my brothers and sisters :-D

I hope you are in best state of health..inshAllah..

i have a trouble concerning the sins

I have friends that are non Muslims, and some of them are Muslims but they dotn pray for exapmle when I do..( in this case at school)

i want to apprach them about Islam, but I dont know how and I am not sure if they are going to listen ...

is this a sin if we dont appraoach them>>?? one of the friends is nonMuslim, and I want to talk to her about it, but there has been a war between my country and hers, and the attackers on Bosnia ( my country) were against Muslims.

so is this a sin if we dont warn them about the only true pathway abou Islam, ?
I have a wish to do this, but I am afraid... :|

  :| :| :'( :'( :'( :'(

and you know this situation when you get emails from Islamic things,u send them to Muslims only, ut not those who are not? Is that a sin???

I know we are only suppose to fear Allah, but this is a hard task, as I am fearing what will thay say, and are they going to be friends with me later..coz one of them is close to me..

what should I do???????

  :-P

Try in your most humblest way to approach your friends and open the subject slowly with them. If you find that they are not getting angry then keep going, bit by bit, eventually saying all that you feel a duty to say, keeping in mind that you should be kind and patient and humble.

in shaa' Allaah they will listen to you and if they don't then you did what you can.

Of course if they are true friends they will take your advice as something precious.

mā shā'a-llāh, may Allāh reward ur intentions. 'āmīn

it is a duty upon us to tell people what is right and wrong, but we cant do much sometimes.  when u go to pray, just tell ur friends, "u guys coming to pray?", maybe later they will feel guilty for not praying. show them what islām is by ur manners and ur character, i also have non muslim people around me and some of my friends dont pray also. but u can only do very little. make du^ā that Allāh softens their heart like He has softened mine and urs. 'in shā'a-llāh, nothing happens without His will.  u dont randomly speak about islām to them, the way u act will show them what islām is.  bring the topics up slowly, if need be, but dont always say "islām says this and that" because this will drive them away from u, and we dont want that, may Allāh grant u the ability to benefit them. 'āmīn

only u know how much ur trying with ur friends, so the least faith requires is for u to hate the action in ur heart. and may Allāh reward u for it. 'āmīn

i hope i helped
