Topic: salat behind wahhabi imam

according to sunni savants ;to perform salat behind wahhabi imam is not permissible.imam's belief is important.we should not perform salat behind lamadhabis

indeed brother, but we assume the best of people and assume he has not comited kufr, when we are sure that he has comited kufr then we do not pray behind him.  but at first we assume the best and this is the advice of shaykh ^Abdu-llâh

As u told that 1 we assume , imam had not commited kufr then we can pray behind HIM, but u can also understand that , we have to assume also whether he had commited insult of ALLAH ALMIGHTY or HOLY PROPHET Salellahu alaihiwasallam or any other Promonent personalities esp., SAHABA KIRAM Radi allahu anhum , if HE ( imam ) commited or has such believes then we can't pray behind HIM !
Dear, will u offer prayer behind a Shia' ? no , never bec HE (Shia' ) is the great insulter of SAHABA KIRAM Radi allahu anhum ! So,like that we can't pray behind Imam whose faith or believes according to Imam ul Wahabiya Ibne Abdul Wahab , ibn e Taymiyyah , etc.,

Dear Bro,

one cannot know what is the faith of the person we are praying behind. So we always think in a good manner and assume that his creed is correct until we heard something wrong about him. Then if we heard something kufr from him, we should not pary behind him.

indeed, brother sadat, i understand. thanking for your advice, but i dont pray behind wahabiyys, i just thought we should assume the best. but i understand now.

this is what i thought brother samer, but i am still learning. we have a imâm who comes to the university to lead jummu^ah prayer and he is from a wahabiyy mosque, but we do not know if he has comited kufr, so the brothers at the university dont pray behind him, wel they were adviced not to pry behind him. 

also even if they do look like wahabiyy's such as having a long beard and wearing trousers upto their knees, we should assume the best?

please do inform me as this is important for me, i also pray jummu^ah sometimes for the barakah.  but not behind a person who comes from a wahabiyy mosque.

As far as I know sis Hafizun,

We cannot judge a person until we hear something wrong from him. As long as he didn't say anything wrong, no matter how he looks like or no matter what he wears, one should assume the best of him.

indeed, this is what i thought, so what would u say if he came from a well known wahabiyy mosque? and if u heard him saying that visiting the grave is kufr? :|
