I've been wondering for long period of time and always was saying to myself:

"Did the technology serve the human being?"

I always see that the technology has more disadvantages on the humanity than advantages....

Do you agree with me or not, and why?

How do you see the technology in your own point of view?

Let's discuss this issue...

your question about technology is so broad,

some technologies for sure did served humanity and some did not...

Evem more, same technology can be used good goals and in bad ones....Atomic/nuclear  energy for example..

yes, but the same teachnology sometimes could be an advantage in some way and disadvantage in others...

about some things here ...
the robots can be sometimes useful..some ill people or handicappedcases  people need them often for helping  them..but I think someday no one needs a service-man  because they have their robots..means that the robots grap the job of the people..
buldozers,trucks...
they are needed as long as violence exists...they need them to protect their country..like you could seen in many wars..out of fear...as long as the technoogy doesnt work on smth new.

yes..the internet is some thing which is as for myself very important for studies.... before you havent use absolutely an internet...now I can't study without...thats weird :|

exactly Yasmin... this is what I meant... robots are replacing men in several jobs.. as well as agriculture trucks..

Long time ago, peasents go to their fields and cultivate and transport products.. Nowadays, machines have replaced human hands thus leading us to firing huge number of persons from their jobs..

Before, we use to hire people to make accounts and many things that the computers nowadays do. Thus as before, leading to more people out of jobs.
Although people invented those machines to help them and they really helped them a lot, but they have put several persons and thus several families who were living from them out of service.

As for the internet....
It is true that it had connected the whole world to each other and helped a lot of people to make researches and surf the whole sites for someting useful, but at the same time don't forget that the internet as well is used nowadays to hack some sites and make for instance very bad abuses about so many beliefs... the people can spread their wrong beliefs through the net besides sex sites that are someway uncontrolable by the parents and where kids looks forward to seek behind the back of their parents.
Some kids would be addicted to the internet to the extent that they discard their studies and sometimes are addicted to the games in it.

As for the television, it is a big distraction machine...

The television in most cases does distract people, however the odd documentary can help broaden your knowledge about issues such as nature.
The internet has helped us connect with people as you said and helped us form wonderful sites such as TAI. True islamic knowledge can be taught in rooms such as the call of knowledge on paltalk, however as usual people use the internet to pervert this great religion of ours, and teach incorrect beliefs.

But what do you think about the machines that took the place of working people.

Moreover, lethal weapons are also one of the technology issues.

Earlier, wars were performed face to face by swords and primitive weapons. But the most important point is that the soldiers hurt only whom they are fighting. Nowadays, weapons are evolved in a way that they can be thrown from far and can hurt a big area and kill lots of innocent people.. Don't you think?

Yes indeed bro i agree, they kill thousands of innocent people, when there is simply no need.

As for machines that take the place of working people.......
Advantages are for a growing population which needs more consumer goods, produced more quickly and cheaply. However it does mean people lose jobs and can be made homeless. I know for example during the Chartist period in England when the handloom weavers were being replaced by power looms, it caused strikes etc and contributed to people wanting universal male suffrage. Also as factories started replacing smaller workshops it caused much upset yet provided some with work to control the machiners-however these people  no longer needed to be specially skilled. As usual advantages and disadvantages for various people.

thats right sis... the next generations will have very much problems if they are not studied enough...
what I do hate is that  a lot of technologie works support the nuclear power station and many people
are confused because this damages our enviroment..so why they built such things ...in my opinion this is in many cases  no need and the ppl make their life sometimes harder as it is...
