when an exalted person who has attained to the degree of receiving fayd from the blessed soul of our Master ,Rasulullah (sallalahu ale,hi wasallam),turns his attention  towards him,no matter where he himself is,the blessed  soul of Our Master (sallallahu aleihi wasallam ),will give him from blessed grave in Medina-i Munawwara

Some wahhabis might think you are claiming that the Prophet creates the betterment in you.

if a person turns his tawajjuh to the soul of Rasulullah(sallalahu aleihi wasallam) when he is own country he will get benefits.but if he goes to the Madina-i Munawwara Rasulullah's soul will be aware of his journey and  of the hardships he will suffer on the way.when he gets there and sees Rasulullah's Rawda-i Pak,his tawjjuh will become perfect.he will get so many benefits.

As far as I know , person  should not ask about anything  whether  or not it is haram when he knows for sure that it is halal.

There is no question about tawasul. Tawasul by Prophets is halal .

Person should not open a door for others to speak unlawful words. For this reason it is wrong to ask : “ Are you Wahhabi ? Are you Shia ? Are you Moslim ? ”

If questioned person is non-moslm , his answer will be “no” . Thus your question had initiated him to confirm his kufr.
