There is an old old saying that barking dogs can never stop the passing caravans. Debating with people of different religions and beliefs in a decent and literate manner is something ignored all around us. Allah has said in Holy Qur'an that:
As for those who disbelieve, it makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe. Allah has sealed up their hearts and hearing and over their eyes is a blindfold. They will have a terrible punishment. (Surat al-Baqarah: 6-7)
This is the easiest way to kill the depression.
