This require more elaboration, not all of the cloths, only the part contaminated must be washed to purify it.


Moreover, if a person touch a dog with a DRY hand any dry skin and hair, then its not been unpurified.

I had notes on this, will try and look for them. What i did write down is that for Hanafiis urine, faeces and saliva from dogs and pigs are impure and are washed like other impurities. dont know about the other schools??

hanafii's :- for impurities from dogs (urine, faeces and saliva) they are washed 3 times but it is better to do it 7 times (for shafiis they have to do it 7 times). For 1 of these washings, the water needs to be mixed with soil, till the water becomes brown.
