wa 3alaikom assalaam,

The marriage contract is not valid if it has a time period specified in it.

If you find a lady that you can marry who is happy for you to only be around for a while or doesn't mind then you do a proper marriage contract with all the needed conditions and with no time period specified.

After that, whatever happens happens. Divorce is Halaal when the conditions are right (and knowing when divorce is Halaal needs knowledge too) but I advise you to be wise in thinking of the feelings of others and not just yours.

I don't know your situation but: Why don't you just go bring your wife for a holiday???

thanks my brother... Well I'm living in california. I'm here for training. So I'm here for a while. The reason why I can not bring why wife is that I have kid who actually  goes to school. So I can not disturb him neither my wife who doesn't want to join me because she's afraid of losing her job. And honestly speacking it's really hard to live in california without a wife. I know you know what I'm saying! There's a small step betweem hallal and haram. Haram I don't want! So that's why I asked such question! Thanks for your response.now I know definetly that zawadj el=moutaa is not allowed. So I'm asking this question: Are our brothers the chiites who are also muslims , wrong? are they doing a sin ? I'm really confused!

You are very welcome brother. May Allaah protect us from haraam.

As mentioned above, it is not valid to specify a time period in the marriage contract.

It is so important to learn how to marry so that the two parties can have a true contract and be halaal for one another. Otherwise if their contract is invalid then their marriage life is zina. May Allaah protect us from it.

As far as I remember, some shia people think that what they call mut^a is allowed because they refuse to believe that this rule was specific to a particular time and situation. Sometimes, the Prophet Sallallaahu ^alayhi wa sallam receives the Revelation about a particular matter being forbidden or allowed at a particular time or in a particular situation, then later he might receive the Revelation again to abrogate that rule.

One example I remember is about visiting the graves.

Maybe someone can give us more details in shaa' Allaah.

Sure Sis

Imam Ali Bin Abi Taleb said:"The Prophet Forbade us from the Muta'a Marriage" -Muslim and Bayhaqi

And there are quotes from scholars from the 4 main Math'habs that this Marrige is invalid.

The marriage was valid for a period of time then it was abrogated as Samsparky said. So if some people in the early years after the Prophet said it was valid , they simply didn't know it was abrogated. But then Omar IbnulKhattab spread the word that this marriage is not valid until the day of Judgment.

Thank you my brothers.  But I'm still really upset though! really upset. There are couple millions of people saying " la illaha illa allah mohamedoun rassoulou allah" and according to islam they are doing a huge sin. According to what you're saying, these million of moslims are doing zina then which is considered " mina el kaba'ir" but nobody seems to do something for that. A friend of mine was asking me about islam last time. He's christian. I was explaining to him what is islam and what it wrong is their religion according to islam: the christ is not dead..Djesus is a man and a prophet... God Doesn't need a wife nor a son.. that kind of stuff .  "O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One free of all! wants, worthy of all praise.  If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a new creation, Nor is that difficult for Allah.  (The Noble Quran, 35:15-17)",  God is one .."Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.  (The Noble Quran, 112:1-4)" I think my friend is going to convert. I was thinking: great one soul saved from hell... but I didn't expect at all that million of muslims (our brothers) are actually in the wrong way and nobody seems to do anything to save them. I'm really upset! Don't we have oulama from sunna and chiia? they can not seat together and try to make this important matter clear to everybody! I would say it's question of hell!  come on , let's clarify our religion to ourselves, to our kids, and to other people who actually want to discover the truth and find the right way!

alHamdulillaah the blasphemer who converts to Islaam will be saved from everlasting torture in Hellfire - so that is very important.

Saving Muslims from a major sin is also very important and don't think that the people of knowledge don't spread the message. But also the lay people need to learn.

The proofs are all there, but more people need to be memorising and spreading the true knowledge.

May Allaah make us from the ones who command the obligatory and forbid the unlawful.

Patience brother Patience !! ...
i have some shiite friends here in my area ...they believe that The Mut'aa thing is Halal ...
Its like a small paper signated between the girl and the guy in front of a shiite shaykh far away from their families , both of them  ...

I remember that i have asked one of them if he accept the mut'aa thing on his sister!, but he answered by NO WAY,! many times !, i asked many and they said no they don't accept, but they have agreed to do it with other girls but not with their sisters! ...

One of them replied and said , well; only the woman who had divorced or her husband died can do the mut'aa thing, thats because she feels lonely etc....!, but again i asked him the same question; will you agree the mut'aa thing on your sister if she was divorced or her husband was dead ?! he said NO too !!!
What an obvious contradiction ! ! !
