When we go through the migration of Prophet Mohammad pbuh to Medina, we see that this was the most important part in the history of Islam. Few families who fled Mekkah were actually penniless and broke and without wordly possessions with only clothes they were wearing.
Here we comes to the City of Yathrab, later named Madinatul-Nabi (the city of Prophet) with tiny population and majority of Jewish tribes scattered all around Medina and entry and exit points were covered by Kafris and Jews.
From here, the heavily outnumbered and penniless Moslems carved what we call a Moslem state based on the true principles of Islam. The more I have read the Prophet Mohammad's pbuh's historic struggle reaches its peak and he is seen in the role of a leader, a teacher, father, husband, commander, diplomat, intellectual, economist, community leader, architect, and peace-lover. His dynamic personality, his total submission to Allah and His cause and the super-support provided to him by his companions was par-excellence and received appreciative nods from all corners.
The first thing Prophet Mohammad pbuh was to send a peace message to anxious and somewhat bewildered Christian and Jewish tribes with a clear message that they do not have to be scared of Moslem's tiny minotiry in Medina.
