Topic: niqab and burka

It is something well known to all the muslims that the niqab is a sunnah.

Ibn Hajar Al Haytami in his book al "fatawa El Kobra" Said that it's Unanimous among Scholars That A woman may reveal her face. from Imam El Haramayn .
Same thing in Shar^h el Eida^h for the same Scholar

and Ibn Jarir Altabari said in his tafseer that the face may be revealed.

And the Hadith found In Bukhari and muslim and others when a woman came to ask the Prophet about a Hajj Issue he twisted his cousin's neck because he was looking at her instead of ordering her to cover her face(with a distance since it was Hajj time).

Also It's supported by The Hadith when The prophet said to Asma^a: "If the woman reached Adulthood. Only this and this are to allowed to be revealed pointing his face and hands"

Sheikh Zakariyya Al Ansari said that if face and hands are ^Awrah  it wouldn't have been obligatory to reveal them in Ihram for Hajj.

I realise that face and hands is not awrah in the four schools but my question is not about awrah.  I have heard that even if it is not part of awrah the face is obligatory to cover due to fear of fitnah except if she is doing some business or she needs to remove it to see something according to the mainstream views of madhahib.  Also, I heard that the hadith you mentioned is relating to hajj and in hajj women don't need to cover their face.  Please correct if I am wrong. As for the allegation that the hadith brother Advisor mentioned is relating to hajj.
Brother Advisor said - the Prophet did not order her to cover her face (with a distance since it was Hajj time)

Because in Hajj time, women can "cover" their face by hiding it in a way that does not involve putting a material straight on the face. The Prophet did not order her to do this- eventhough she could have.
