Why would a menstruating woman be considered impure? Does this really make sense?

NO! NO! NO!

menstruating women are not considered impure in that sense. where did you get this one chrono?

The prophet once asked his wife to give him the rug he prays on she said she is in that state and he said that it's ok there are lots of other hadith that support that.

and as for why it's not allowed for the woman to pray, sit in Mosques and fast in that state, one can ask a lot of such questions and any attempt to answering it in a "scientific" way will fail. there is a reason, I just don't know it. and probably lots don't know it. there is a reason, Allah is Wise and he created us and knows what is best for us. We Muslims follow the Shari3a to the letter....

And you probably Know that she must pray in that state if the menstruating lasted for more than a certain time it will become "Esti^hadah" so she Performs ghusl and prays.

I meant ritually impure, as in unable to become ritually clean before the menstruation period expires.

Wow. That's a harsh one RiRiRi.
We were all lost sometimes. That doesn't mean we were like donkeys.
& Still you didn't add an answer about this particular issue to Chrono.

That's it you answered yourself, blood when inside of the body is pure.

Do you have a reference for that, bro?

No, but if it wasn't how would you pray? You would have to empty yourself first?
Wrong reasoning. By this method of coming to understand things, you'd also have to say that urine and feces are pure while inside the body.

At the end of the day, it's your religion, but it's never good to make assumptions. Check things out!

Knowledge is acquired from learning. information in Religion is not according to your opinion or my opinion. it is not phylosophy. Religion was taught by the prophet to the followers and so on. These rules are not for you to make your false opinions and unacceptable words about them. This is not a play please take things seriously.
Women do not have to redo the prayers they miss when they are during their period. It's easier on them. They have this special case.
Judgments like I said not always we regular people see and know why they are like this but we are obligated to obey Allah's commands and we beleive there is wisdom behind everything Allah ordered us to do even if our limited knowledge we don't know why is this ordered but we obey. we do not get philosophic.
the main thing is the correct belief. we learn it and the correct mind and the logic is 100% hand in hand with the Islamic belief. then after w elearn the correct belief we learn the details and the fiqh how to pray how to fast etc...
So please learn the true belief first learn the attributes, learn what we can say and what we cannot say about Allah, His messengers, His Angels, His books, learn about the life after this life, about the judgment day, about kada2 and kadar, gain the correct knowledge and become a muslim. A muslim never says anything negative about any judgment in Islam. A muslim never criticises negatively any judgment taught to us by the prophet or that has consensus about it.
learn.

Why are women not allowed to pray in Islam when they are in a state of menstration? What is the sense, wisdom and logic in this? Is there something wrong with them when they bleed? Why should that make them unworthy of praying?
a period of haid is ten days maximum and three days minimum.according to the Shafii and Hanbali madhabs,it is fifteen days maximum and one day minimum.

it is mustahab for married and unmaarried(bakira) women during their menstrual period only,to put a piece of cloth or pure organic cotton called Kursuf on the mouth of their vagina.,and to apply perfume on it.it is makruhy to insert the entire kursuf into vagina..a girl who sees bloodstains on the kursuf everyday for months is considered to be menstruating during the first ten days and having istihada for the remaininng twenty days.this will go on untill the bleeding, called istimrar, stops.

it is written in the book Jawhara' a woman must let her husband asks.it is also grave sin not to tell it when her husband asks.it is also grave sin if she says that her haid has begun while she is pure.our Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)declared: 'A woman who conceals the beginning and the termination of her haid from her husband is accused.
