Why are women not allowed to pray in Islam when they are in a state of menstration? What is the sense, wisdom and logic in this? Is there something wrong with them when they bleed? Why should that make them unworthy of praying?

There is a lot of wisdom behind things, which it seems you are obviously ignorant about, you are blessed with perfect sight as well as the ability to think hear and speak this is Created by only One God who has no partner and who is attributed with all perfect perfection that befits Him and is free of any imperfection Allah ta^ala ....

yet you have perfect sight you can see the wonders that are created by God Allah but  you are truly blind in seeing what is cleary the truth.

You are lost in your questions and methadologies of this world...

May Allah guide you ameen

One needs to be in a state of Purification before they are able to pray, we as Muslims pray five times a day and we preform purification before we can pray, there is alot of Wisdom behind this.  The richness of Islam speaks for itself our Mosques are touching for the eye to see aswell to the heart, sit in one of our mosques and you will find peace and tranquility.

And of course Peace from my side also, this forum as you can see is full of alot of knowledge about the true creed of the Muslims I would give you advice to take time to read some of the topics and understand areas if you dont understand the areas you read.  Then one of our good dear brothers will teach you...of cours God Willing.

Why would a menstruating woman be considered impure? Does this really make sense?

You know Chrono that the blood that comes out of a menstruated woman is filth (Najis).
Here's an analogy and sorry for it : shit or urine is filth also, u know that, right? would you go to prayer while you are stained with it? no, of course. you have to clean well first . Well the thing is that the menstruatin blood is almost continuous for a certain period, so during this period how would a woman clean, when it'll come back instanteneously.
Now why is this blood impure? would "Allah said so" be enough for you?
Excuse my poor scientific proofings on this matter.

Well, this is an interesting explanation, although I'm not sure it is the correct one. I don't think Islam prohibited women to pray while menstruating because of the presence of blood on their clothes/body, because some schools (such as the Malikis) have famous opinions which state that the prayer of a person with "filth" on him/her is valid. Nevertheless, the same schools prohibit prayer for the menstruating woman.

You mentioned something else, namely the question of why blood is impure. This is a very good question, after all blood flows through our bodies, blood is in our hearts... if the physical heart is the place of "Iman", then how to account for the fact that the heart has blood, an "impurity", pumping through it day and night? Or perhaps do Muslims hold that the blood inside the body is not impure?

No, but if it wasn't how would you pray? You would have to empty yourself first?

Wrong reasoning. By this method of coming to understand things, you'd also have to say that urine and feces are pure while inside the body.

At the end of the day, it's your religion, but it's never good to make assumptions. Check things out!

Indeed a wrong reasoning.
Semen, for instance, when it comes out of your body, then you have to wash yourself. but semen is not impure according to the shafei mazhab.
Even someone's blood if it comes out of him (by being injured or something), it doesn't spoil his wudU.
Menstruation blood is filth however.
Scientifically, i'm not that knowledgeable to answer about the nature of this blood.
