Assalaam Alaikum,, this is my first post in this forum, as I was going through the creative writtings, I see that ppl here do have some flair for writtings etc, which is a very good thing, and a sort of uncommon practice. I enjoyed reading and since I am from the same "Biblio-hile" class I would love to add a few pennies in futre. Thanks a lot

Although I live in perfect safety and luxury of my home in Chicago, I was devastated by the horrible attrocities commited by Israelites on the innocent women and children of Lebanon, being a powerless person, I was so depressed that I wrote something for the people of Lebanon:

In my window how many crosses are fixed,
Each with the color of the blood of its Messiah,
Each with the hope of union with its Lord.
 
On one they murder the bright moon,
On one the rapt park is cut in two,
On one they put to death the morning breeze...
 
I salute the innocent blood of the women and children of Lebanon which indeed is going to fuel the lamp which will light-up one day and a small Jewish child will read in its light. He will learn how to say "God Bless Us All".
 
I, with all the sadness in my heart trying myself not to fall apart; look at the destroyed dwellings of my fellow Moslems. With all the anger and embarrassment living inside of me, I close my eyes to be engulfed by the darkness.
 
I am ashamed that I am still alive...
