i just wanted to add what my shaykh said, my teaxcher reported that someone came to shaykh ^Abdu-llâh and confessed what touching can lead to.  you know the centre part of ur palm... it is very tender. and touching this is very dangerous for the opposite sex.  the brother confessed that he once shook the hand of a non- maHram lady and this led to him fornicating with her. Allâh forgive his sins 'âmîn

we should beware.  the other day a sis was giving us a lecture on how we stoop soo low to get jobs, we would commit the sin of shaking a mans hand just for a job, when we know that Allâh provides us with rizq.  i once witnessed someone shake a mans hand, but they did not get that job subHana-llâh. i felt really sorry for them.

main thing to remember, "One should not do obedience to the creature if it is disobeying the Creator."

Of your relatives who you can shake hands with.

For a woman: -her father, grandfather, great grandfather, etc.

-father's brothers, mother's brothers,

-her brothers

There are more non-marriageable men to her, would you like more information?

As for the ones she can not shake hands with, it is her cousins and many others.

shooking hands is a seldom thing I think It is just needed in Conversation or something special...but I mean in honst you getting in touch wioth a non- mahram man everytime ..in shopping or generally taking something from him..that does not prevent touching the skin of non-mahram men.I meant this kind of touching,of course this is without lust but It is not always avoidable...what do you think?

If it is really accidental then that is not sinful.

But if it is intentional that is sinful.

Accidents can occur and they are not sinful, but again just be careful in everyday life

Like sis samsparky said it is still forbidden to touch the skin of a marriagable man or female,  but the mujtahids differed on whether it invalidates the wudu.

According to the hanafi school it does not invalide the wudu.

now, i understand...then,it depends on da school...hanafi school does not invalide the wudu..
