Hi afia, it is not obligatory for women to cover their hands and faces when they are out of the home.

You're welcome afia; the Prophet made it clear for us that the woman does not have to cover her hands or face. The wives of the Prophet were different to other women though, and they had special rules that applied to them. For us, we do not have to cover those areas.

:salam:  Brothers and Sisters Of Islam,

It is not obligatory to cover your face and hands though I find it very appealing and mysterious. It is also great in a sense that you are covered for the sake of Allah subhana wa ta^ala and you are only for your husband to see. Only he knows of what you look like under those beautiful garments. It is all sacred and when you think about it in that way you feel at ease and so will your husband.
I hope if you do want to cover your face that your school will accept this. These days schools can be understanding and flexible with subjects in regards to changing times, teachers, classes, uniforms, rules but yet do not have the respect to accept people as whom they are. These christians etc. talk about how they respect everyone as a different and one person when that is a lie because when it comes down to it they crumble and disrespect and make fun.

We only need each other, Our Beliefs, The Teachings, The Quran, Have our Prophet Muhammed Aleyhissalam in our hearts and only worship The One Almighty Allah subhana wa ta^ala

May Allah keep you on the right path and please keep in touch with your muslims brothers and sisters.

Assalam

Very true Sheikh Abdullah Very true. Inshallah. My heart is yearning for knowledge and to be with only my muslim brothers and sisters. Not in this fake beliefs of Entertainment, TV, etc. and money. I am not fazed about money anymmore or having loans and debts. I will not be taking any of these things with me in the Hereafter. I only need my knowledge and to practice what I and others preach. Alot of muslims are lost and do need to be pointed back in the right direction because we have too many astray. We have the "Key To Enter Paradise" lets not forget this and remember only worship our creator Allah subahan wa ta^ala.

very touching words.

I see here a person who is truly detached from material values of those who see money as goal, rather than a means.

may Allah protect you my sister.

if more muslims had your values, we would be much better off.

but our society has been driven really really far from the values of islam.

how many today order the good and prohibit evil???

but is not that what the Quran order us to do as we were qualified as the best community that was given??

Allah ta^ala says:

[sourat 'Ali ^Imran / 110]
Click on the arabic script to listen to a correct pronounciation of this verse.

which means :

You Muslims have been the best people that have evolved from mankind for mankind.
You enjoin equity and you recourse to general principles of justice.
You forbid all that is wrongful and obscene and you conform your will to Allah’s blessed will.

I wish to make this prayer in your favor sister Adalia.

The great prophet Mouhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم used to say this prayer to request protection and good guidance for someone he loved.

Yes, the story in our tradition is about the prophet making this prayer asking Allah to give his beloved companion the power and strength to truly master horseriding... yet the prayer is rather of a generic nature, and it could very well be said for asking Allah for a brother or sister to be helped to face the hardships and stand firm on the right pathway.

In addition, in this prayer, you ask Allah to make it that the person you are praying for becomes a well guided one, and he or she himself / herself guides other too on the right pathway.

Please click on the arabic script to listen to a good pronounciation of that.

Allahumma thabbit-hu wadj^alhu hadiyam-mahdiyya

O Allah, I ask you to help this person face the hardships and stand firm on the truth, and I ask you to make this person a well guided one, and that he or she himself / herself guides other too on the right pathway.

This great prayer in fact comes from the hadith :
