Topic: An advice from Sheikh Abdullah

Bismillah,

I thought it would be a great idea to translate this new and moving advice by Sheikh Abdullah, one of the great scholars and defenders of Islam now a days.

قال الشيخ عبد الله الهرري رضي الله عنه وأرضاه (بتاريخ 2/10/2004):

" من كان يستطيع أن يقوم بخدمة الدين والدعوة فترك ذلك بلا عذر عليه ذنب كبير . مذهب أهل السنة في هذا البلد كأنه ميّت . من ترك العمل لإحيائه فهو خاسر ، أما من جدّ فله أجر كبير ، من ترك العمل لخدمة الدعوة قلبه ميّت ، هذا من موت القلوب ، إذا لم تجتهدوا الآن وأنتم في سنّ الشباب فيا حسرتكم بعد أن تصيروا في سن الشيخوخة على ما فوّتم على أنفسكم . الذي يترك خدمة الدعوة بلا عذر فأنا غاضب عليه


Sheikh Abdullah may Allah have mercy upon him said on 2/10/2004:
"Whoever is able to serve this Religion and neglected that without an excuse is committing major sin. The school of Ahlus-Sunnah in this country as if it's dead, and the one who leaves working on reviving it, his heart is dead, this is among the dead hearts. If you do not work hard now while you are at your youth, alas, what a loss on you for when you become old for how much good you lost. The one who leaves serving this Religion without an excuse I'm angry at him".


Please, rush to give your utmost attention to thise advice and urge others according it.

its really no time to be idle. We must work hard. I heard the Sultan once said: "If the companions were anything like us Islam would have never left the Arabian Peninsula".(of course it's his modesty that he put himself with us in the same group. He is like a mountain. and the rest of us are like pebbles of stone compared to him)
Our enemies are working and their message is spreading like a cancer. Extremitism, Wahabis, and pseudo-sufis are every where around us.
We need your dua's my brothers and sisters. You work in this feild more than I do.

Today Wahhabis stabbed sheikh Mouwaffaq Al Rifai in the Islamic Center in Lausanne!

Sheikh and 6 other brothers were badly hurt by the wahhabi agressor

our work on teaching tawheed on talkaboutislam is indeed a great service to this religion.....  may Allah save us of neglecting this and every work to serve this religion, and may Allah protect us of all major sins.

True, look at the newspapers today, even when our Imam is STABBED inside OUR islamic center during the friday prayers and speech, before 200 people, we are the trouble makers!
