the question was about different ages !!!!
and beleive me it does not matter as long the man is good and nice and treat you nicely!!!
af course the smart person marry a muslim like him and this is our first rule but some young man treat their wives badly even if they knows the right religion and study the right 3akiddah!!!
So you can't judge all people each one is different sometimes the old man feel jalousy and treat his young wife badly and sometimes he treat her like princess.

subhaanaAllah, this is unfortunately true.

I have known examples of each of the above mentioned cases.

so, when getting married, one really really should not focus on age....

age could be a factor..... but it surely is not a major factor


most importantly do as the prophet salla Allahu ^alayhi wa sallam recommended to you:

فعليك بذات الدين تربت يداك

so you would be doing great if you succeed in having a pious spouse...

barak Allah feeka brother Martin and all my precious brothers and sisters in TAI

subhanAllah i myself have known one of these men-i think he was Saudi. he was in Beirut when he saw a little girl who used to wait for her friends to pick her up in the morning to go to school and then he sent his driver to the girl's house to ask if he can come and ask for her hand but walHamdulillah her parents refused.
the girl didn't know him at all, subhanAllah she even didn't see him not even once

he was giving many offers to the parents to convince them, it's like he was trying to buy her with his money...

la Hawla wala quwwata illa billah..

so brother Martin, i know it's too late, but what happened to this lebanese lady???
