Wonderful Books on the life of Prophet Mohammad pbuh:

1) Prophet Mohammad: His earlier Life by Martin Lings (Sirajad din Abu Bakr)

2) Mohammad: Aspect of His Life  by Fethullah Gulen (Book won Award)

The Best, Most Detailed, based on very good research work and based on genuine script was a book I have read its called "Al-Raheeq Al-Makhtoom" this books is a frist prize winner in Saudi Arabia and it was originally written by Mawlana Sari-ur-Rehman Mubarakpuri in Arabic who hails from India, the menuscript of this books was considered to be the best.
 
I have a copy of this in Urdu which was also translated by the same gentleman, I have read some books on the life of Prophet Mohammad pbuh like a book from Fetehullah Gulen (also a prize winner) who was Turkish scholar, from Martin Lings white British who  convertedt to Islam or Leopold Asad a Jewish American convert to Islam but the book I am talkig about is Sooooooper.
 
Very balanced and a result of in-depth research - very good. I don't know if we have English translations available of this book.

Correction: The name of the author is Mawlana Safi-ur-Rehman Mubarakpuri and the name of the Book is "Al-Raheeq Al-Makatoom"
