{{Surah Yûsuf Verses 93- 96

Allâh ta^âlâ said that Yûsuf said what means
93-Take this shirt of mine and cast it on my fathers face, he will again be able to see and come to me with all your families
94- When the caravan left their father said ‘I do indeed smell the smell of Yûsuf. If only you do not treat me like a fool.’
95- The said ‘By Allâh truly you are in your qadîm-old wondering mind.’
96- Then when the bearer of good news he cast the shirt over his face and he (Yaqûb) forthwith regained clear sight. He said ‘did I not say to you I know from Allâh what you do not’.

This is evidence of tabarruk. Using causes, we do not believe anything we do has the power to save us. Allâh has the power to save us. }}

As for the distribution of nails, imâm aHmad reported in his musnad that the Prophet cut his nails and gave them among people and what is known is that that was not meant for people to eat them but to seek blessing them.

As for the Prophet's jubbah, Muslim reported in his sahîh that the freed slave of Asma, daughter of 'Abû Bakr, who said what means

 "she took out for us a jubbah of the Xerses (Kisrà) Persian style with a silk patch (for the pocket) and two hemmed arm holes and she said this is the jubbah of the Messenger of Allâh, it used to be at ^Aîsha's, when she passed away I took it and the Prophet used to wear it so we wash it for our sick, seeking healing by it."

 According to another riwayya, she said we wash it for those among us who are sick.

 It is reported by HanZalah ibn Hadhyam that he said what means

"I was sent in a delegation to the Messenger of Allâh with my grandfather Hadhyam, and he (the grandfather) said o messenger of Allâh I have bearded sons and others and this one is the youngest of them. So the Messenger of Allâh made me come closer and he rubbed my head and said 'barâka-llâhu fîk' ".

adhdhayyâl said I have seen HanZalah being brought a man whose face was swollen or a shah (a yew) whose udders were swollen and he would say 'bismillâhi - in the name of Allâh' on the place of the hand of the Messenger of Allâh, and he would rub it and the swelling would disappear. This is reported by at tabarâniyy in the same meaning and also by aHmad in a long hadîth and the men in aHmad’s line of transmission are reliable.
