Topic: Number of Divine Books

I have read there were 104 divine books that were revealed. Does anyone have a reference to this, Qur'an or hadith?

The scope of my religious knowledge is very small. The info is from the knowledgeable  person. It is also in the book “ Bahjatu Nazr” that is considered to be   very reliable and contains short explanations for more than 450 religious matters.

it is in Ibn Hibbaan (and Souyouti and Qurtubi )

why do you need exact references ? you are taking part in some kind of online islamic games and quizzes ?

I have written a book called 'Islam - Pure and Simple' (it's 2MB long, 114 pages) where I discuss Scriptures in one section and I thought it would be good to reference this hadith.
