Do you know about eartquake in Central Java? It was happen on May 2006
I was work for Eartquake Recovery Team of non government organization here. We made a lot of social activities to help the needy. Our work based on da'wah Islamiyah because we faced so many Christian Organizations (about 200 organizations) that tried to build Christian village for the vistims.
We have ever got donations from
Helpinghands London-moslems London, Moslem Germany, Moslemah Japan, donations from Qatar, Bahrain, Quwait,etc. We are very thankfull for their help. May Allah reward them. amin :-)
Now the team work was over on Descember 2006, but our programs for the victims still walking. We try to lead the farmer to manage their field under our agriculture division, help the children to handle their trauma-psychology mental healing division, for women we have women division, etc
The members of our NGO are including fresh graduate/"almost graduate-last year in their study"-students from some universities in Jogjakarta, that's why we almost have complete programs for all life aspects-architec for rebuilt housing and mosques, lawto get their right from manipulation government budgets, Islamic syari'a economic, agriculture, health, youth, children, and of course da'wah & dirosat division 8-)
Alhamdulillah we are not alone to help the victims... Allahu Akbar !
