sister.. this ummah can not be united and there will be divisions among it always whatever anyone says. The prophet peace be upon him said that in his hadith where he said that his ummah will be divided to 73 sects. All of them will be in hellfire but one and only one. And this one is the sect that Follows whatever he used to follow peace be upon him and what his companions followed. Only that is the way.
salam.

For the Ummah to be united again, something BIG has to happen. Something that will eradicate all the devious sects or make them convert back to the true islamic beliefs and actions.

This BIG thing will happen one day, for the prophet has spoken about it,  namely the emergence of the Mahdiyy who will unite all muslims under one Flag and belief.  Also in the days when Jesus will be among us, all muslims will be united, in fact all on earth would become muslim.

But until the Mahdiyy arrives there will be sects, groups and non unity as Puma said. But the majority will be on the right belief, , as the prophet said, the one that we have and teach in this site. Ahlu al Sunnah wal Jama3a are the majority and thank God we're part of them.

there is something more I think
I say to you now and heed these words Muslims must see non Muslims as their Blood Brothers and Sisters and want for them what they want for themselves whether they become Muslim or not.

In this if there are poor among you, you must strive to ease their suffering and sort out into Groups and set up or become part of organizations that help relieve this suffering regardless of who is Muslim or not and who is not this is the best Dawah besides living a good and spiritual life.

Also it is time to sort out into Groups for counseling to overcome any anger, violence or ignorance that might exist among you and this is imbumbant upon all people Muslim or not.

It is also inbumbant upon you if you have been abused in any way or have yourself been abusive to reach out to trained counselors and not just the Imams or Clerics.

You are a priceless individual to Allah and we all are and in this he has given us once again the title he gave to us at the first creation of Adam and that is his Prophet and Messiah none of us is exempt.

WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT ??!! You started by talking about

conselling and unity and than THIS ??!! Be informed that WE muslims

beleive that the prophet Muhammad IS the last prophet and that

any person after him claiming hearing the word of God or claiming he is a

prophet (except for Jesus who will reappear after Muhammad) is a liar liar

liar. This forum WILL not be a place for such non-sense...

peace...
amlhabibi.. a muslim has his duties towards other muslims and other non muslims <<<in certain issues and circumstance>>>. The right of respecting and not harming and being fair with other muslims is taught to us by the prophet peace be upon him. Good manners is the best way to performe da'wa to misguided muslims, kuffar and even to the jews and christians. The manners of the last prophet of Allah, Muhammad peace be upon him, was a great example proving this. The easiness of your heart will never come by following groups and associations... the easiness of your heart and soul comes by following the right path showed to us by Allah which is following the path of Allah and the teaching of our beloved prophet peace be upon him.
As for the imams and clerics... i don't know if i hold the exact same belief as the people of this forum. But one thing i tell u without hesitation... no imam or cleric is a perfect example but muhammad peace be upon him. Every human is exposed to mistakes and errors and misguidance except the prophet peace be upon him. For this he is our leader and it's his teachings that we follow.

Quote
Beware that you consider these words and not throw them away or abuse the Servant I have sent and treat her the way others treat Mohammed PBUH when he delivered the Message I sent previously and the Message I sent with my Servant and Messiah Jesus PBUH and the Message and Servant I sent in Moses. This Servant is just doing my bidding and Anne Marie is a good and worthy Servant of Mine treat her well and with respect.

as for this.. i have nooooo clue and i dont' want to prejudge and presume things... but what is this 'QUOTE' supposed to imply exactly? Who is to say that Marry Anne is a good servant of God? sister, u can't be claiming that you are a prophet are you? i don't know what your education was or what is your religious background. But the matter of a new prophet coming down is an issue that there is no dispute about for us because God told us in His Holy book that the revelation is terminated by the death of the prohpet peace be upon him and that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is His last prophet and messenger and islam is the last revelation. We beleive not in any prophet to come after our prophet. Our religion is completed, perfected and protected from being changed and modified until the Day of Judgement.
peace

True salafi... the addition of the word MUSLIM in my post is supposed to mean what exactely? Islam teaches you to respect and not harm and be fair with others... neglecting their religious background. no?

Puma, our religion orders us to Hate Blasphemy and sins. and Allah in the Qoran said that non-muslims are the least of the creation. And the prophet Muhammad fought the non-muslims, so harmed them. So because of the Qofur they hold inside, we are not allowed to respect a non-muslim. And we cannot simply "neglect" their religious background cos many things are related to that (what we can say to them and what we can't, what feelings we may have for them and what we may not, what help we can offer them and what we can't, etc... these can be learned). On the other hand, our religion orders us to behave in the most convenient way in order to show the greatness of Islam, but without stepping out of the allowed boundries.

Allah never tells anyone to be disrespectful of others.

It is clear as it says treat all Brothers and Sisters Muslim or Non Muslim with respect.  To that effect.

There is a quote but I am at loss for it at the moment if I find it I will bring it here.

We all deserve respect whether we call ourselves belonging to a religion or not.

Allah created us all equal and blew his spirit into all of us at creation.

Think about it.

The least among us deserve respect too, everyone does.
