Im wondering, how do you reply to people who say wearing pants is wrong or is haram?

Because when we go to learn most the youth and others wear pants, when i say pants i don't mean tight ones. But some people who don't come and learn say you can't wear pants and when you pray with them your prayer isn't right and other things like that.
Then they use the proof of the prophet, the one when the lady's dress blew up and she had pants on underneath. I know they praised the one who wears a dress with pants underneath, but when they ask us for proof we don't have anything so can someone please help me out!

As long as the clothes cover your ^awrah, not transparent and are not tight fitting, it is permissible to wear them.

You want proofs that women can wear pants? If they fulfill the conditions above i don't know what proofs they are looking for but i will try to help you insha' Allah.

Can you also explain and elaborate on what they base themselves to say it is not permissible?

All i can say is that these people are ignorant. I really don't understand them. They say its not permissible, cuz i think they take the hadith of the Prophet the wrong way.
