my mom never taught me to sew - in arizona most people consider it feminine

hi ahmad, welcome to the forum  :s1  wave1

Sewing is very easy once you've learned some of the basic stitches, and it is a very useful skill to have.. it isn't something feminine though, a lot of males sew too. There was a Prophet who was sewing one day when the shaytaan came to him and started to ask him questions. Insha' Allah one of the brothers or sisters on the forums would be able to tell the whole story...

wow....

now we have seamstresses as well , maasha Allah... i used to sew many years ago.... but living here and work being work.... i just lose touch of so many things... :cwt

Inshaa Allah i wld learn something new here and we even have patterns looks like... :) Baarak Allahu feekum. (Y)
