THUS, we on TalkAboutIslam have a policy of protecting our beloved young brothers and sisters, and thus we do not allow the following:

4. Plain copy-pastes, especially those many-page-ones. On a forum, you write your own views, not those of the one you copied and are pasting here. Copy-pastes kill the discussion as no one would read your many-page paste….

If you want to be read and answered, our advice to you is the following:
1. Be respectful (don't step on other guys toes)
2. Be scientific (don't call this or that names, but rather bring scientific proof from the Quran and the Hadith on the issue you are discussing. Tell us which Imam, in which book, said what. Your personal opinion does have its place, but not when calling things Halal or Haram, legal or illegal in Islamic jurisprudence)
3. Be convincing AND polite (don't push for your ideas, but rather introduce them softly keeping in mind that you might be wrong…..)
4. Be brief (very few people would ever bother to read long posts. Be brief and you are better and more read)
5. Be concise (don't spend half an hour beating around the bush, just go to the heart of your issue directly.)
6. Be wise (think…… before you push the submit button.. )
