You may not paste a book which speaks of Ibn Taymiyah in a good light, on this forum. Im not a moderator or anything, but I know that is the policy.

AL WALA' WAL BARA' - Chapter ONE

To show the lack of precision in this book:

The author said:
Quote

If you think a thing can help you or protect you from harm then you have taken it as a god.

This is an incomplete statement. If a person believes that a thing could help him WITHOUT the power of Allah, then it is Kufr. Otherwise, it is not dangerous for a person to believe that a thing other than Allah could help him, WITH the power of Allah of course.

The Prophet said "Wa Allahu fi ^awn al-^abd maa kaana al-^abdu fi ^awni akheeh".

This statement shows that it is possible for the Slave to Help his Brother, by the power of Allah.

Such a lack of detail and precision indicates clearly that either the unknown Muhammad Saeed al-Qahtani is obviously not of a level to be writing books about the religion, OR that the more unknown Omar Johnstone is a lousy translator.

i don't know why the thread of Mutawwakil was left unedited. i was shocked when i saw the pictures down there of ossama bin laden, and the references made to deviants such as Qahtani, Ibn taymiyya, ...etc as if they are righteous.  :verymad:
