AS I READ THE QUESTION AND THE RESPONSE, I DIDN'T HEAR WHAT I EXPECTED TO HEAR AND THAT IS ALLAH IS IN CHARGE. ALLAH PLACES PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS TO TEST THEIR IMAN. ONLY ALLAH GIVES LIFE AND TAKES LIFE. IF ALLAH WILLS A THING THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO OR SAY TO DIFFER. IN A CASE OF RAPE, THE VICTIM SHOULD PLACE HER FATE IN ALLAH. IF A LIFE IS TO COME FROM SUCH A HORRIBLE ACT, IT MAY BE THAT ALLAH HAS PLANS FOR THAT INDIVIDUAL. REMEMBER, ALLAH KNOWS WHAT WE KNOW NOT. IF IT WAS NOT WILLED FOR A LIFE TO SURVIVE, ALLAH CAN CAUSE THAT PREGNANCY TO CEASE. ALLAH IS IN CHARGE!!
If someone does get raped and pregnant is there still a chance for them to get married with a decent muslim family? In other words how would someone live through such an experience,
Many women who are raped go on to have happy families these days.QuoteYes, the rape survivor can move on with her life, but the emotions of that time in her life live with her forever.QuoteAnyway, the REAL rape rate in America and UK and other countries is actually quite low - however the REPORTED rapes are very many - and a large percentage of those cases are either not rapes, or there are no witnesses to prove that it was a rape as opposed to just straight Zina and therefore needn't be considered as a rape.Rape is universal, happens everywhere. Reported rapes determine the percentages of how high or low it actually is. There is such a thing as date rape where the woman is drugged and is then raped, that statistic varies from state to state within America, then there is spousal rape which often goes unreported. QuoteAlso, such a thing hardly EVER happens to any Muslim women, as they usually don't stay out late on their own, and they don't go back to any strange men's houses (where most alleged rapes take place).Quite probably this doesn't happen often to Muslim women; however your comment suggests that a woman is asking to be raped should she go to a strange man's house....it is never the woman's fault if she is raped; no woman ever asks to be raped. Rape takes place at parties, houses, schools, Central Park in New York City ( a few examples)....the place is not important, it's the act itself which is a crime against women. And should there be unplanned/unwanted consequences such as pregnancy, then, in my country, a woman has the legal right to choose whether or not to carry to term. Some women will keep the child, others will not and will abort, some others will give the child up for adoption. This is a very personal decision between a woman and her doctors. If the Islamic faith says the woman should endure whatever Allah wills, then who am I to argue with that? I am just saying as a woman myself, if I were raped, I would decide what is best for me so that I could move on with my life but I also know the decision, whatever it would be, would not be an easy decision to come to. Rape is traumatizing to a woman, she lives with it, as I said, forever. The best thing for a woman is to never place herself in a situation where rape might occur, but there are times when she has no control whatsoever regarding the situation. We cannot blame her for being raped.
