I want to know  that  jilbab is fard or not   I really to wear  jilbab everyday  ...  my  parent  dont like  jilbab , they  think  it si  dag or  too  dressy ..  :hmm:hmm

I will answer you briefly insha'Allah but do not know enough solidly to give you proofs.
As I understand it, jilbab is not fard, as long as you cover yourself except for your face and hands. Jilbab are very practical as they are loose enough to not show the shape of your body, and you can put them over whatever you are wearing, and of course they are very smart and you look nice floating along in them!
We have a huge choice of clothing as women, and you can wear anything as long as it covers you modestly :apl1
Insha'Allah someone will come along and give you a far more detailed and intellectual answer, but as far as asthetics go, I love jilbab, and parents never like what their children wear anyway!!!!!!!! :love:

Don't worry about it isn't fard to my knowledge, and wear whatever you are comfortable in within the guidelines for the sake of Allah.

Dear sis

Jilbab is not a fard, it's not obligatory upon Muslim woman to wear it, and as long as you're wearing sthg loose enough, you're on the safe side in shaa Allah

If I were in your shoes, I would wait to convince my mom more and more, and then I'll wear it everyday

I'm really happy for you, and I agree that wearing jilbab does make us feel better, I mostly wear it, and sometimes when I don't, I feel weird  :?
