I hope many of you are reading this thread of Bro. Urdumaniyy. The fitnah of this particular group, the Nazimites, is extreme. They are very, very dangerous because of their apparent, as opposed to genuine, affiliation with the Sufis and, unfortunately, their growing attachment with certain (not all by any means) sections of the Brailawiyy community (but not only them).
They claim to be Naqshabandiyyah (though they have no link to Sheikh Othman Sirajuddin, Suleyman Hilmi at-Tunahan, or other authentic Naqshabandis) so whenever someone tells you this one needs to inquire about their background. Wherever the Naqshabandies are popular, you will find this extremist and deviant faction trying to muscle into the Muslim community. Any Turks out there, especially amongst the Sulemaniye - but not only them - WE NEED YOUR ACTIVE SUPPORT - NOT JUST IN YOUR COMMUNITY - BUT THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IN EXPOSING THE DANGER OF THE NAZIMITES. AHLUS-SUNNAH WA-L JAMA^AH NEED TO UNITE - NO MATTER WHICH SHEIKH WE ADHERE TO. THE NAZIMITES ARE SPREADING.
The work of Bro. Urdaminiyy is very academic and extremely well researched. He has risked life and limb, literally, to produce this and deserves our support. I strongly suggest that brothers and sisters here take up on his offer to receive the text by email, etc, and to distribute it. It may be that some of you in Australia have yet to encounter this particular evil of the Nazimites, but they are spreading in Malaysia, Singapore and elsewhere in South East Asia. Those of us in Europe and the U.S. are already sick of them. As they say, it's only a matter of time until they get to you.
I would be grateful if any of you could suggest methods for dealing with them, actually. Most of the close followers of Nazim seem to be in awe of him and defend him irrationally and irreligiously. How do you deal with those who are brainwashed through such a personality cult?
