A true friend is the one who helps you to be a better muslim, the one who helps you to do more ta^aat, and reduce your Ma^aasy. The one who reminds you when you do something Haram, and encourage you to gain more rewards. It's Ramadan, let's work more to gain rewards.

A friend for me is honestly the one who would not spare an advice to give me, and would not think he is bugging me.
one who would be there for me when i need him or her, and would not simply feel like doing something else.
one who would love me for the sake of Allah, not for something I have that he or she needs,
one who would tell me when i am wrong, that i am , and when i am right, that i am, but he would still be kind and gentle in his ways.
one who would encourage me to prepare for the last day, and not be too concerned with material things in this life.
one who would pass his knowledge to me, and accept mine, without feeling I am preaching him.
one who would accept my advice, and take it for granted I have given this advice for the sake of Allah, and would not feel he or she is being bossed around or told what to do

Yes my true friend is someone i can trust.
someone i can trust with my heart, my feelings, my secrets, my sweetest thoughts and my strangest questions.

My friend is someone that can help me get to paradise and not just that, but get to paradise without prior torture.

My friend is special. My friend is the one wise and strong person capable of being  a father when needed, capable of being soul mate when needed, capable of accepting my mistakes like a teacher does and capable of helping me fix them.

My friend is certainly one that i can find in this forum,,,in the forum of friendship, faith and all things good. My friend is here. I know it.    ;)

I'd like to welcome all the visitors of this lounge and encourage u all to go beyond reading this.. Have the courage to register. I promise as a moderator of this lounge i will make your stay relaxing, religiously enriching and intellectually satisfying.

Congratulations and Alf Mubaarak to the Administrator, Super moderators, Moderators and members. ;)

I read a few posts and saw the potential in them and in their talented writers. Im sure talkaboutislam will soon burst at its seams insha' allah with Islamic knowlwdge, interestings facts, entertainment and with the enriching converstation between friends.

;) While I'm on the subject of friends,  let me send my best wishes to all the friends in this friendly forum. I am eager to add to it the deep friendly discussions that the Captain and i had in safeena hoping that 'sweetheart ' will try and beat the impact they had on the readers in the safeena. ;)

Im sure the Captain, Tayyiba and Noor will not mind if i move their articles from safeena and post them here. This will be my house warming gift for the dwellers of this beautiful new forum. I want you all to know that the postings i am giving you are valuable gifts and i beleive 'talkaboutislam' is deserving of them.
