ASALAM WRWB...
WOMAN MUST COVER HERSELF SO THAT HER BEAUTY OR EXPOSURE TO SOME FILTHY AREAS CAN AVOID CAUSING FITNAH.

ASA :bros and :sis',
I have not read all of the discussion. I think that Islam is about  Moderation amd our  Intentions. and Toleration.
First of all, we have to LEARN and ACCEPT ALL as Human Beings.
Let us forget about Hijabs and Four Marraiges and focus on how to be good Human beings.
  Moderation is the KEY
Women should wear hijab so not to attract attention by the opposite sex. In USA Hijab is noticeable by all.
I will say to women: It is your choice  to wear or not to wear.
Do not criticise anybody for not wearing  hijab or wearing it.
I tolerate all Muslims except who are hypocrites.
( In a gathering a lady talked of her Knowledge on Islam. And I wished that I was like her. She was wearing Hijab covering her hair only. She was showing her curves. Next time she wears  very loose clothing and preaches that ladies should wear hijab and if they are showing curves the meaning of hijab is lost.I was astonished because " that day I could not criticise her".  I saw her one day showing her curves and hijab to cover her hair ONLY.
So let Allah judge us all.

I ask Allah's forgiveness if He does not like my point of view. Allah know that I am not perfect.May Allah guide me Ameen.

I want to add something that Our history is on 1400 years , and we still d't know what is order of Allah.
We are fighting on evry issue , Few said Hijab is must and few said no its not.
I want to request from all the Muslims that please do not change ISLAM for their own bani fits.

Muslims in majority agree that women should cover all their bodies except their faces and hands.
This is the ruling in the four major Imams ( Hanafi, Maliki, shafi3i and Hanbali) .And whom ever a women wants to follow is (her) choice, and she will be at the right path.

These are the rules in Islam, and anything else is saying of people that has no agreement of the majority muslims and therefore we do not take in considerations.

example: One sheikh mentioned few years ago that Muslim women in western society attract more attention them than women who wear sleeveless ...... therefore they should not wear hijab.

He should have not said that..  because what he said goes against what is mentioned in the Quran.... and that is why no woman I know listened to him.

As for covering the face; Some people argue and claim that it is an obligatory. We know that it is true that  wives of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him wore the burqa (face cover) and they were distinguished from rest of women in that way.

So if a woman wants to follow on the footsteps of Prophet's wives and cover their faces they will get more rewards for their discretion .. and that is a way for a Muslim woman to practice her freed of expression.

Now a day they say that Hijab and burqa is a sign of Islam oppression of woman, but the way I see it from this side.. They are the one's who are taking the woman's right to chose what to wear.

Kindly remember that according to surat azalzalah 99-7 and 8 in the Quran it says what is means,

   7. So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant) shall see it.

     8. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant) shall see it.
