I am not sure if this question has been asked already but there are so many threads that it would take all night to find out :utp1
My sis is doing studies on women in Islam, and needs to know about the rulings about women being paid to work at home, I think she said Mahr and Nafaqah. Our teacher is away at the moment so we have noone to ask  :stumped  :cwt  Poor us!

would you kindly be more precise what do you really mean

we all know that there is absolutely no problem in Islam if women work, at home or outside….

I think she said Mahr and Nafaqah

Mahr is the money that is offered to the bride as her marriage gift… that is her right and the husband’s duty.

Nafaqah is however the money that the husband HAS to pay for the basic expenses of his wife and children..

Both are obligatory on the husband, and this is so whether the wife works or not… Money that she makes out of her work is her own property and the husband has no power whatsoever on it.

As for it being 10302, I could turn this into a long guessing game, but I will tell you now. It is the date of my conversion the 10th March 2002, I am just over a year old!  :yippee
Alhumdulillah I got good knowledge immediately so none of this blasphemy from weird groups that seem to target converts got into my head  :bh1
