Abdullah,
I think you should include a forum where Muslims can ask questions from us non-muslims about our beliefs.  Some kind of open forum that allows Muslims to ask direct questions about Christian, or some other religion from the people that hold those beliefs.

That is a possibility, so maybe we should have some simple rules about how to interact as adults.  I have found that even though you and I have very different views we are able to interact quite well and even though we do not agree we can still talk about our core beliefs.

True. We should very soon upgrade our forum rules to reflect more all the situations that we have encountered in our one year of existence on TalkAboutIslam.com …..

I think that as long as we keep respect for each other as a primary attitude, without ridicule or remarks that are intended to cause bad feelings then we can ask and answer nearly anything.

I think one thing that has helped in our personal interaction is the fact that I know you are totally committed to Islam in the Sufi tradition  and you know my approach is honest.  You do not make fun of my beliefs even though sometimes you may feel that they are not founded in reason and thought.  I think that you have seen why I believe what I do believe and that is why you have questions about me.  I in turn have many questions that only Muslims can answer because my questions are about how Muslims view the world.

Your original idea is to be discussed by the moderators, whose consensus on the issue is the only valid authority on TalkAboutIslam.com.

Neither I nor any other moderator on TalkAboutIslam.com allows himself or herself to take decisions for everyone else...

I would tell you what those discussions among the moderators and admins yield.....
