Assalamou 3alaykom dear sister sweetheart.
I know my answer was brief, but I was in a hurry, I didn’t have enough time to write a lot. Also, I had to think of something, and come back. Barakallahou feeky, I am really happy to read your comment about my post, we are here to advice each other and help each other to do the best we can to make this forum, and this site one of the BEST. (It is already one of the best, but we can always improve what we have).
Insha2allah we will gain a lot of rewards for this, we should always nsa7i7 al niyya in what we’re doing. Again, we should thank our dear brother SUNSHINE for his help and support for everyone here. We can’t thank him enough, he is giving us the opportunity to gain rewards, learn new things, and review things we might have forgot. To thank him, I think it will be enough for him to make dou3a2 for him whenever you can, and post here (at TAI) as much as you can. This is for everyone of us, moderators, members, and visitors, we are all learning, and obtaining a great benefit out of this wonderful site.
Barakallahou feeka dear brother SUNSHINE wa ja3alaka minal^awliya2 assali7een. Razaqakallahou ro2yat sayyidina Mouhammad wazziyara bijahil Habib, sallalahou 3alayhi wassallam.
You are right dear sister sweatheart, I have also heard a lot of people comparing our life with the Western life. I have also heard them complaining about our life, and thinking that Western life is the best. I can’t say they are wrong in everything they say. Western life is perhaps easier than ours. Maybe it has more benefits (in some ways), but we also have a lot of things they don’t have. I used to be living in one of the beautiful countries of the Middle East.
I heard people saying a lot of good things about Western life, and since I haven’t went there before I didn’t know, how true their stories were. Later on, I came to a country in the West; I had the opportunity to experience the Western life, and to compare between the way of lives. I admit that we have problems in our life, but in reality I don’t think anyone is free from problems these days. If you look at each family, you might find something that bother them, of course it differs from family to another and from country to another.
I saw a lot of people, and I met a lot. Most of the people I knew, had a problem in their life, and the others probably had, but never talked about. Alhamdulillah we learned Islam, we know what is Halal and what is Haram. The rules we learned made us avoid a lot of problems that the West is exposing to. We might have marriage problems, we might have money problems, we might have education problem…
I have seen people having a lot worse than thnese problems here in the West. Some teenagers, at a very young age being into drugs and alcohol (and a lot more bad things). Most of these kids, move to another house, where they can live alone at this age, therefore they have the opportunity to be exposed to worse things. This is one of the problems, people of the West are trying to deal with, however the percentage of having one of these problems is very rare for us, because we know the Haram and Halal. I hope and wish they will learn, and reduce their mistakes. Insha2allah they will smell the roses one day.
Best wishes to everyone here
