The Straight Way
« on: Friday 20 December 2002, 16:28 »
The Quran refers to Islam as being the "Straight Way", but what I would like to know, is the word "straight" meaning a path of following the directives of the Quran versus following the lusts of the flesh and its desires? Is following any other desires, whether they be fleshly or evily originated considered a "crooked" path? Are most peoples lives a combination of both?  :bringiton

Dear Albert,
The straight way “Asserat Almustaqim” ÇáÕÑÇØ ÇáãÓÊÞíã mentioned in the Qur’an means the right path that all people should follow, as you will see in the other thread, there is only one correct path, as the sound mind do not accept that  two paths are correct if they contradict with each other, it’s clear that if one is correct then the other must be wrong.
So, what we need is to prove that a path is correct, then we conclude that the others which contradict with it must be  wrong.
