asalamu3alaykum brothers and sisters im new to this islamic website and ye decided to join use
i wanted to ask a question    is it harom to work in a fast food restauraunt such as mcdonalds or kfc   because ive been hearing answers from both sides and i dont know what to do??

Welcome to the forum.

Your question is an important one because when we earn money we want to make sure it is halaal money.

The rule is that a person is not allowed to sell haraam meat whether to a non-Muslim or to a Muslim who eats haraam meat.

Surat al-Maa'idah, Verse 2:

وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الْبرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ

It shows us that we must help each other do good, not help each other do sins.

thanks for that    i want to see what i can do
but say i did quit working there  does that mean all the money i already saved up would be harom money???
