I am overjoyed to read a Mexican Muslim Sister of recent vintage
May Allah bless you in every way, Ameen.

Tell your husband that if he reads the Quran he will see that we are commanded to help our slaves in their work. How much more should we help our wives who are our equal partners?

Quran also states that wives have equal rights over their husbands as husbands have over them and that men are the protectors and maintainers of women.  And... to women what they earn and to men what they earn.

The sole right of husbands over wives is the conjugal right, for marriage is to preserve chastity. Women  have the additional right of support and maintenance and kindness and justice.

You will surely be blessed for the good things  you do for your husband out of kindness on your part Insha Allah. I pray that he ceases to be culturally chauvinistic and learn what Allah really expects of our men folk.

The Prophet said "The best of you are those who are best to their wives, and I am best to my wives."

I have a lot of faith in Allah  and i know that every thing is going to be just fine , but the only thing i need to know is the correct answers for my husband he ask me just for the ayas  or suras in the quran !! and i dont know wher are them!! HELP
