I have learned that the Prophet ...
« on: Monday 09 December 2002, 13:15 »
taught a very peaceful religion in his first 20 years of preaching but later he became a head of state.  I would like to know which part of the Qur'an was written during the first 20 years.

I have learned that the Prophet ...

The prophet was patiently abiding to the order of God for 13 years, by calling people to islam, withstanding their insults and the beatings, and not retaliating in any way.

13 years in Mekka, the muslims who believed with the prophet did not carry a sword. They simply waited patiently for the order of God. They were ordered to withstand the humiliation and insults, the beating and killings that the unbelievers subjected the muslims too, only because of their belief......

After that, the prophet received the order to send part of the muslims to Ethiopia.

Then the prophet sent the muslims to Yathrib, the city which was later called al Madeena al Mounawwara (the illuminated city)

The prophet and muslims were getting stronger and stronger in Al Madeena (al madina)

Many years later (about 7 years, yes) the prophet received the revelation :

أذن للذين يقاتلون بأنهم ظلموا وإن الله على نصرهم لقدير

which means :

Sanction is given unto those who fight because they have been wronged; and Allah is indeed Able to give them victory;

ONLY THEN, Muslims made swords and started defending themselves... then they went back to Mekka and conquered it. Bilal climbed the Kaaba and shouted loud: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar!

The prophet has always been a true leader, but never a tyrannical one, as some ill-hearted my imply .....

The prophet never ever ordered or accepted the killings of the kids or women of those who insulted him and humiliated and tortured the muslims because of their belief.

Hiroshima, Nagazaki, Vietnam, and Iraq tell us well how the yanks

1) TORTURED with Electrical shocks and Water, Fire and the Beatings,

2) Killed the Old and women, fighters and civilians alike

3) Burned alive TENS of Thousands of kids of their ennemies...
