LIFE & DEATH

look at love
how it tangles
with the one fallen in love

look at spirit
how it fuses with earth
giving it new life

why are you so busy
with this or that or good or bad
pay attention to how things blend

why talk about all
the known and the unknown
see how the unknown merges into the known

why think seperately
of this life and the next
when one is born from the last

look at your heart and tongue
one feels but deaf and dumb
the other speaks in words and signs

look at water and fire
earth and wind
enemies and friends all at once

the wolf and the lamb
the lion and the deer
far away yet together

look at the unity of this
spring and winter
manifested in the equinox

you too must mingle my friends
since the earth and the sky
are mingled just for you and me

be like sugarcane
sweet yet silent
don't get mixed up with bitter words

my beloved grows
right out of my own heart
how much more union can there be

{

come on sweetheart
let's adore one another
before there is no more
of you and me

a mirror tells the truth
look at your grim face
brighten up and cast away
your bitter smile

a generous friend
gives life for a friend
let's rise above this
animalistic behavior
and be kind to one another

spite darkens friendships
why not cast away
malice from our heart

once you think of me
dead and gone
you will make up with me
you will miss me
you may even adore me

why be a worshiper of the dead
think of me as a goner
come and make up now

since you will come
and throw kisses
at my tombstone later
why not give them to me now
this is me
that same person

i may talk too much
but my heart is silence
what else can i do
i am condemned to live this life

Asalam Alaykum
I also love to write poetry, however I tend to focus more on things present in the modern world, and express my views on them through my writing. I hope you like this piece.

Power of TV
This poem is dedicated to all those innocent victims in the world.

One day when I turned on the tv
I was frightened of what I would see
A world distrupted and in denile
A place where no body wants to smile
A land of chaos and pain
Where there is no time to complain
Murder and death don't surprise
As these are normal things in there lives
A mother cries a baby screams
But no one helps its too extreme
All they want is to be free
And to live, lives like you and me
An explosion here a gun shot there
But they refuse to breathe contaminated air
I've had enough I can't watch on
The way they have been treated is wrong
It's true and thats why it hurts to see
I wipe my eyes and turn off the tv

i'm also tendin not to watch tv at all. everyday it is so sad and shocking :'(
anyone watched lately the palestinian kids being massacred by israleli missiles? it's brutality beyond logic.
for how long can we live with this humiliation and disgrace?

its very sad really whats going on in the world, and how we feel so useless because there isn't much we can do but pray for them

 :hearts2 Misty  :hearts2

My name is Misty I am but three
My eyes are swolleen I cannot see
I must not be loved for I am punished by cigarette burns
I must do right I can't do wrong
Or else I'm locked up all day long
When I wake up I'm all alone the house is dark
My folks aren't home

Im really just an expensive joke
No more no less then speed or coke
Be quiet now! I hear the car
My dad is back from Charlie's Bar
I hear him curse my name he calls
I squeeze myself against the wall
On my bed its too late
His face is twisted into hate
I feel the pain again and again
Oh dear God please let it end

My name is Misty
I am but three
last night my father murdered me...:notme

yeah... now that you have mentioned it I will reveal what really  I write ( just dont freak out)...

" Today is tommorow. Tommorow is today. Isnt it beautiful to know the future??? ISNT IT?? Today  Today wasnt appearing, because tommorow can disappear again. And you werent moving beacuse you were moving your head. Now you know why the others were the clones o today and tommorow hoping you wouldnt mind stepping in their way. But you were aware of it, so your body was still, and head in a spin..."

(This is actually a speech from my unfinished collection of mystery, but I wrote it beause I was really mad at one period of time... So if you dont understand it never mind. :|

According to your moral i write :
I testified victories and defeats
learned from yesterday to stand on my feets
to strenghen my heart and it's beats
i'll live for today to plant my way everyday
burdens and tears i'll put them behind i'll put away
away from the hope that i hoped for tomorrow
tomorrow is striving and fighting
weakness shouldn't be residing
learn not to cry tears
not to mention your fears
fears are weak but strong you are "
