Fasting the month of Ramadan is a great worship. The following Qudsiyy hadith narrated by al-Bukhariyy is sufficient to show the merit of Ramadan

<<All the deeds of the son of Adam are his except fasting--it is for Me and I reward for it.>> Fasting Ramadan is among the best acts of obedience, among the greatest deeds, and one of the most important matters of Islam. This is ascertained by the hadiths al-Bukhariyy and Muslim reported that Islam is based on five important matters; the Prophet counted fasting Ramadan among them.

I know there is still a week before Ramadan but I already feel the spiritual atmosphere and the blessing of Ramadan everywhere around me in Cairo. People are becoming more gentle. Every body is telling every body "Kol sana wa antm taibeen"
The children are decorating the street by hanging colorful paper. I used to do that when I was a child too.
Ramadan is a very special month for all Muslims  :smlv  :bro1  :sis1
No month is like Ramadan. I wish all the months were Ramadan
Our beloved prophet Muhmmed صلى الله عليه وسلم  Said:
There is a mercy in the beginning of it.
There is forgiveness in the middle of it.
There is a release from fire in the end of it.
May Allah forgive us and release all of us from the fire.

Here in kuwait we are waiting for ramadan .all the mosques began to be in its good shape , the supermarkets began to be full option in terms of food and other things which belonging to this month.people are very happy and friendly but they are alittle bit confused from the inviroment ( hit iraq) spesially alot of news is comming that this will be during ramadan . but any way all of us wait for this month ,

Very true, but in the months without Ramadan, people still do them. In Ramadan they try really hard to avoid them !!!
