Thank you sister Aminah :lvlv1  :lvlv1  :lvlv1
i am fine. how lovely to be with you.
In my opinion, Alexandaria is one most beautiful cities of Egypt. :eg1
i spent a week there this summer with my family there. :p  :p  :p
this when i visited Alexandria library. IT is a REVIVAL of the ancient library which was the most famous among all ancient and medieval libraries. Not only was it the largest in all antiquity, but also it was associated with scientific research and was frequented by scholars from all over the Mediterranean.

The new library of Alexandria or the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is not only a Library. It is also an integrated cultural complex, with libraries, museums, exhibition areas, educational centers and an international conference center.[/ COLOR]  .All the Egyptians :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  are proud  :bh1  :bh1  :bh1  :bh1 of it  :apl1  :apl1  :apl1  :apl1  :apl1  :apl1  :apl1
you can visit the web site of the library and learn a lot  about it so i invit you all to come and seehttp://www.bibalex.org]
One of the best thing in Alexandria is the sea ofcourse. the view of the sun set from the see is unforgetable. Masha Allah. i was thinking. God created all this beauty. how come we do not notice it.
i was in a holiday. other days, i do not have time to look to the sky.
i think we should  always look around us to see the beauty god created and i think this will make us feel better.
i like the sea so much. although i am not a very good swimmer. any way, when i am in the sea i feel like i am alone completly alone even if my family near me.
sometimes, the sea is dinger. may Allah protect us all. :bf1  :bf1
we spent a wonderful time riding a boat at Alexandria's port.
it was such a wonderful days, and i can tell you more if want to know.

subhanaAllah you are right sis :lia , we have wonderful things around us that Allah  created (Al-hamdulillah)

though somtimes we dont really notice them and truly apreciate what we have, perhaps because we are too busy to just stand and stare.
Too busy to take a step back and just stop from what we are doing and just look deeply into nature and its beauty.

In fact not to just look but also listen i mean really listen...to the trees while the air rushes through its branches...and hearing the sound of the leafs gently touching the ground,
the sea and its waves that always seems to be rushing to dry land making a calming noise... even birds....! . :bh1 ...(subhanaAllah how beautiful that is and you know what the list goes on and on, but i dont want to bore you my  dear :lia
and i will be waiting to hear more about your holiday in Alexandaria)  :bh1  :bh1  :bh1  :bh1  :bh1

YOU ARE A POET  :lia MY DEAR SIS 2Aminah. :apl1  :apl1  :apl1 :apl1

this are some information about The Ancient Library of Alexandrina which was burned down from more than 1600 years ago.
do youn believe that :dbs1  :dbs1  :dbs1  :dbs1
At the meeting point of the three continents, Asia, Africa and Europe, Egypt has been the cradle of civilizations since ancient times. After more than 4000 years of development of the Pharaonic culture, the Greek dynasties, begun with the Ptolemies, made it possible for Alexandria to be the world's intellectual and commercial capital and metropolis. The Library they built there, in the fourth century BC, became the world's first university with its college scholars including such famous names as Euclid, Erastosthenes, Heron and Archimedes, to name but a few.
 :bh1  :bh1  :bh1  :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  :eg1  :bh1  :bh1  :bh1
The great library, which also served as a publishing house, was built at the side of the museum. Anticipating our modern libraries in the way it was run, it had a catalogue of all the works it possessed - 700,000 of listed and classified manuscripts already in the third century BC - and enjoyed "legal deposit rights", thereby, being entitled to make a copy of every book that entered the country.

i will tell you more about my visit to ALEX in my next post.
