Topic: to raise one's finger when sitting in namaz

I asked: arraddu lMukhtâr ^alà ddurri lmukhtâr is an encyclopedia which mentions many ijtihâds  on Hanafi fiqh issues maybe there is such a fatwa. I have never heard this is the prevalent opinion in the school, but it may exist

and i know for sure that its ok to raise one finger

What is so funny, you asked the question and i gave you an answer. There is a difference between saying something is not permissable and something which may need to be avoided. Some people cannot control themselves, maybe they should try and limit their conversations with non-mahrams

According to the Shafi^iyy when you say "il-lallah" in the tashah-houd you raise the index finger and it is sounnah to do so in the prayer.
The Malikiyy also they have their index out and they move it.
So as for the hanafiyys, as I recall they put out their index finger.
Where does it says that under the hanafiyy madhab this is not allowed Ottman???
