May Allah rewards you for that.
I was always rising my pointfinger when saying first part of shahaada, as once was told that in the moment of passing away, one should say shahadaah, and if is prevented to say, then to rise a finger and thinking about shahadaah in his/fer mind. Therefroe, it was reccommended to rise it when sitting in namaz.
I'll stop with that practice, but would appreciate if i can get explanation of that fatwa. If not, no problems

That has been asked already brother

Speaking with a non mahram is fine, as long as you are not flirting etc

What is so funny, you asked the question and i gave you an answer. There is a difference between saying something is not permissable and something which may need to be avoided. Some people cannot control themselves, maybe they should try and limit their conversations with non-mahrams

I asked: arraddu lMukhtâr ^alà ddurri lmukhtâr is an encyclopedia which mentions many ijtihâds  on Hanafi fiqh issues maybe there is such a fatwa. I have never heard this is the prevalent opinion in the school, but it may exist

Brother hold on here, the ones who made this Fatwa for you should provide you with reference (dalil) ask them to do that...

As sis bash said, its ok to chat (with certain restrictions) with non mahram..

Also, could you please define chatting for me..

best
