It is well known that ^A'ishah rode in the battle of the camel.

And the Verse in the Qur'aan in ? verses 12 and 13:

  ?? ??  ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ? ?? ?? ? ?? ?? ?? ? ? ?? ?? ?? ? ?? .

which tells that Allaah created animals for people to ride on. It does not refer to males only.

This is also in the Verses 79 and 80 of Surat Ghaafir:

? ? ? ??  ?? ?? ? ?? ?? ? ??

And the Verse 8 of Surat an-Na7l:

?? ?? ? ??
