Baraka Allahu feek Brother Sunshine for sharing the Miracle of the moon splitting, but unfortunately that was not the answer.:bsf5

However, I will give you half a point for the following answer:

Quote

Moon Splitting in Hadiths
Narrated Abdullah bin Masud: "During the lifetime of the Prophet the moon was split into two parts and on that the Prophet said, 'Bear witness (to thus).' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (sallallahu 3alayhi wa sallam) and his Companions, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 830)"

I did tell you to look at the Explanation of the Sirat Al-Mustaqeem

I will post the answer shortly God Willing.

So far:
Sisters:1 , Brothers: 1.5 :hmp1  (But round two isn't over)... :apl1

The correct answer for the brothers
« Reply #21 on: Saturday 05 October 2002, 19:40 »
The answer to:

Quote

Describe the miracle that was narrated by Al-Bukhariyy from Ibnu (the son of) Mas^ud, which was more extraordinary than the Miracle of Prophet Jesus of bring the dead back to life (by the will of Allah).

The Bukhariyy narrated from Ibnu Mas^ud that he said what means:  We were with Prophet Mohammad salla Allahu ^alayhi wa salam and we were eating food with him and we heard the food making tasbih (praising Allah).

This is one of the three miracles that are more extraordinary than Prophet ^Isa having the miracle of the dead coming back to life.

This can be checked on page 310 of The Expalanation of the Sirat Al-Mustaqim (Sharh Al-Qawim fe Sirat Al-Mustaqim) by Shaikh Abdullah Al-Harariyy.

Sorry brothers :cwt, horay sisters :apl1.

Round 3: Question for the sisters
« Reply #29 on: Saturday 05 October 2002, 22:49 »
and now, after winning the second round ..... here is a question that would make a few of our sisters weeeeeeeep .....

here we go

Bilal the Mouadh-dhin of the prophet..... once was in The Land of Sham (Syria, Lebanon, Palestine... ) and saw the prophet in his dream telling him something like : long time no see, Bilal.....

He woke up and immediately started his trip to visit the beloved prophet of Islam, thus teaching the whole ummah of Islam that going to visit the prophet's grave is a blessing !!!! despite wahhabi ignorant and devious claims.........

Who is the scholar of Islam who narrated this story of Mawlana Bilal and in which of his books????
