[Sweetheart]

 MEMORIES-recorded

The wind pressed PLAY and start it did
A tape of days gone by
Of heart aches, tears and lonely nights full.
But not one intermission
I try to PAUSE to grasp fresh air
But on a wheel- it rolls
Have mercy on this soul, I cry
STOP tearing my emotions
FASTFORWARD through those days gone by
And show a joyful notion
From where shall happiness become—I ask
When my heart is REWIND beating
I tried not to RECORD events
But failed with every motion
I even tried to EJECT them from
The pot that stirs love potion
Yet not a single hope I felt,
Since you were here to stay
But as the light grew dimmer in,
It grew brighter over there
I realized the TIMING of the wind
Was what you had SET before
To wake me up with joy again
As you stood against the door
Too late it was, I had a grip
Opened the curtains wide
I saw the PLUG I pulled at last
The light within grew bright
Be gone with you, oh selfish one
It’s time for pious casting.

Sister Sweetheart,
what a BEAUTIFUL poem! but it's also sooo sad...it reminded me of my family who I am very far away from:cwt and I wish every day to see them again.
