none of real Sunnis  say bad words about Hadrat Muawiya 'radiy-Allahu anh'
if you say he was sinful ,you are not sunni

Those who rebelled against Imam Ali could not have possibly done so out of ijtihaad because the Religious texts are clear that rebelling against the caliph is forbidden.

By committing this sin they did not become blasphemers but they did something wrong.

Even the Prophet said so:

The Prophet said to al-Zubayr what means: <<You will fight Ali and you will be the one who is unjust to him.>>


al-Bayhaqiyy said: "All who fought ^Aliyy were agressors." Ash-Shaafi^iyy said the same.

I'm sure without a doubt that al-Bayhaqiyy and ash-Shafi^iyy are of the best examples of what a true sunni is.
